The strongest decision is the collision between the broad green vertical form and the blue field behind it. The green does not have a fixed outline; its wavering edges carry thin dark marks that make the form feel unstable without fully defining it. That uncertainty gives the central area its charge.
The pale peach shape at upper left is handled with unusual restraint. Its soft interior stays open, while a few fine contour marks along its right edge connect it to the central green. The blue surrounding it provides enough cool space for that muted peach to register clearly.
The repeated incised lines are most persuasive where they follow a bend. Along the diagonal red band in the lower half, the marks turn with the surface and make the band feel folded rather than simply colored. The small blue opening near the bottom also benefits from this treatment, since its darker lines clarify the curved edge.
The lower-right section is holding the piece back. The red and black marks there are so dense and similar in direction that they flatten the distinction between the diagonal band and the green area beneath it. The central green remains spacious, but this corner becomes visually crowded.
Make that lower-right texture quieter. Remove roughly half of the dark vertical marks near the right edge and keep the strongest lines along the band's upper bend. That change would preserve the tactile language established elsewhere while giving the surrounding coral and green fields room to remain distinct.
